Kanghua Boat Range

Kanghua offers five different ranges of well-proven shapes for their rowing racing shells to meet the needs and expectations of each of the crews around the world. Here in NZ, we are offering the top three ranges that are built to minimum racing weight.

All Kanghua hulls are made by vacuum process with epoxy resins and are oven cured.
Teams can choose between a classic aluminium wing rigger and carbon back wing rigger. The aluminium riggers are anodized and welded from a high-strength aluminium profile. The new carbon back wing-rigger is made under high pressure of prepreg. carbon layouts.

Kanghua boats are designed to be compatible with widely available ranges of rigging equipment, including rudders, seats, slides and footplates – the kind of equipment the average club boatman will have in his workshop.

KX

KX (A ++)

KX is the top range shell of Kanghua: a 100% pre-impregnated carbon fibre honeycomb sandwich structure provides maximum stiffness. Seat decks and bulkheads are made of carbon fibre sandwich under high pressure. The best choice for the most demanding teams, who only settle for the best possible available option.

Spirit

Spirit (A+)

Spirit combines carbon fibres (external skin) with carbon fibres (internal skin) to achieve a high-quality honeycomb sandwich structure providing optimal stiffness. Seat decks and bulkheads are made of carbon fibre sandwiched under high pressure. Without a doubt the most successful choice on the market for highly competitive teams.

Spirit K (A)

Spirit/USA, a Kevlar skinned honeycomb sandwich structure with carbon tapes reinforcements to achieve an optimal price-quality ratio for competitive teams with a high use of material and a larger fleet. Seat decks and bulkheads are also made of Kevlar fibre sandwich.
